Winfred is named after our founder's grandfather, Winfred "Gus" Tunnell [1918 – 2011], and our values reflect his unshakeable moral character.
Gus was a United States Marine and World War II veteran who worked hard, was devoted to his family, and lived in deliberate service to others.Â

Her background includes VP-level operational leadership in large-scale, professional property management – one of the most process-intensive, customer-facing environments in real estate – giving her firsthand insight into the challenges businesses face at scale.

Tara started Winfred to help SMBs run better, grow smarter, and scale with confidence. The documented processes, service standards, and operational clarity large enterprises treat as baseline expectations are often cost prohibitive or simply lower in priority for the SMBs that need them most.Â
